Many schools and teachers have asked us for help as they welcome new arrivals to the UK starting in their schools, with little or no English language. This page is designed to bring together some advice which we hope will help. It contains advice and suggestions from some of our most experienced EAL teachers, and we thank them all for their generosity in sharing their time, their ideas and their resources.
We plan to update this page with more of these useful resources as we become aware of them, so please let us know how you get on with these, and of any other sources you recommend – email us at education@goodcompany.org.uk
