Epsom & Ewell Refugee Network

Free English Classes

Epsom & Ewell Refugee Network offers free English classes on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday during term time.  


There are various other opportunities in the area or online to learn English.  Please see below for more information about local lessons and resources. 

Current timetable

EERN runs free English classes for refugees and asylum seekers 3 days a week at our hub in Global House. Our teachers are volunteers with professional teaching qualifications.

Tuesday - The Meeting Place

Beginners
Taught in person at The Meeting Place

Mole Valley Skills Hub, Swan Centre, Leatherhead

  • Beginners: Tuesday 9:45 AM –  11:15 AM
  • Elementary level: Tuesday 11:45 AM –  1:15 PM


Intermediate level

Taught on Zoom

  • Monday: 6:30 PM – 8:00 PM


Elmbridge CAN English lessons

Free English lessons for all displaced individuals and families. 


Tuesdays:  Drop-in, all levels - Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced
​ + Young children play helpers. 10 - 11.30am  


Fridays: 10:15-11:45 - All levels
