We work with a number of landlords who have chosen to rent their properties to refugee families. Imagine how fulfilling this could be - you receive your rent, but also know you are helping a family build a new life.
EERN now runs a rent guarantee scheme to give landlords more assurance. Families are working, they can pay a market rent, and EERN supports them with finding furniture and setting up bills once they move in.
EERN provides support in terms of paperwork and advice, so landlords do not need to use an agent, and we will continue to support both parties during the tenancy. It is the most amazing thing to do, and we would be very happy to meet with you to talk through how this might work for you.
Please contact us to learn more or speak with us about letting your property.
Here is a video of current landlords sharing their experience of letting their property with the support of Epsom & Ewell Refugee Network.
