Many landlords have chosen to rent their properties to refugee families. Imagine how fulfilling this could be - you receive your rent, and also know you are helping a family build a new independent life.
EERN runs a rent guarantee scheme to give landlords more assurance. Families are working, they can pay a market rent, and EERN supports them with finding furniture and setting up bills once they move in.
Ian Watts is EERN's Housing Support. He provides support in terms of paperwork and advice, so landlords do not need to use an agent, and EERN continue to support both parties during the tenancy. We would be very happy to meet with you to talk through how this might work for you.
See below for details of families who are looking to rent. Please contact us to learn more.
